I spent some time in Texas, so I have residual interest in how UT does

But the SEC and B1G are extremely regional and I simply don't have connections to any of the other teams.

Any break-off league that doesn't include my teams will be no more interesting to me than FCS football or Euro-leagues/Chinese basketball. I might occasionally watch highlights but I'll almost never sit down to watch a game.

I watch very little college football outside of BYU. I already don't watch the playoff, so I definitely wouldn't watch
