Alabama is the best team in the country and they almost gave up a 28-0 lead
BYU fans can whine and complain about not "stepping on their throats", but the fact of the matter is that every team is going to fight back in the Big12. Every team is going to make a surge to try to get back in the game. We see it all over the P4 conferences.
I've detailed it 2 comments above...BYU's play calling did not get more conservative when you look at the actual play by play breakdown.
BYU could not run the ball in the second half, likely due to the makeshift O-line, so we scraped by to pull out the W, roll into a bye week 5-0, and focus on giving our new OL line-up reps to practice together.
