This year Utah has less p4 wins than byu just to fact check you, but if you were referring to last year, why is byu the standard? My point has been that Utah is overhyped. They get hyped as a top 10 team so comparing them to byu is irrelevant.

I agree that rankings this early in the season are also influenced by last season, which leads us back to Utah finishing 8-5 with a bowl game loss (their 5th straight) to northwestern. You said yourself that rankings aren’t based solely on this year, so where is Arizona? Between this year and last year how can you objectively justify Utah being a top 20 team?
