I mean, they’ve beaten the same number of P4 teams as BYU. That’s part of my point though: we don’t have enough data yet
to rank solely on this year.
Everyone would agree that Ohio State is a top 10 team (probably top 5, but I’ll be generous). Their best win is over 3-2 Michigan State. After that, it’s Marshall.
Same with Oregon. Their best win is UCLA or Oregon State. Neither is good.
You can go down the list and see that most teams don’t have any good wins at this point. Or, at least, we don’t know how good the wins are. So you’ve got to look at other metrics and data.
