Yah he’s an atrocious defender. The fact that he’s only slightly below average this year
Has made it his best defensive season in years. Whether that’s just because defensive stats are a bit variable, RF in Yankee Stadium is easier, or because he tried harder in a contract year, who knows.
If he re-signs, one of them should probably be playing LF going forward.
