5th graders are my favorite. The younger the child the less emotional intelligence/logic/reason they possess.
The younger kids are more selfish and less likely to look our for or have empathy towards their peers. I definitely have way more to do the younger the grade is. 5th graders need very little supervision for the most part. Kindergarten needs a ton of supervision. Makes sense when you remember that for many of them its their first time away from mom/dad for long periods.
But they are super cute so that makes it even out lol. One kid has to have his dad come each day at lunch to change his diaper lol.
They have offered to pay me, and i could use the money even though its only like 15.87 per hour iirc, but I kind of feel like getting paid would cheapen the work a little for me or something and I feel like I would need to take it more seriously and be more strict and I dont want to do that. Plus sometimes I still want to go fishing on my days off 🙂
