Are you trying to continue your workouts through it all? Sometimes it takes a complete 2-3 months with no exercising
along with low dose NSAIDS.

That gives the inflammation time to quiet down. After that start back taking it easy and increasing the exercise load s-l-o-w-l-y.

That's been my experience in the past several times, not just with knees but with various other aches, pains and inflammation.
