the MWC deal expires in 2026. The MWC will be left with very little. The PAC can probably expect at least $8-10M pro rata media payout if it limits realignment to 8 or 9 schools (consultants are telling the PAC to expect $12-15M pro rata - which would be tremendous for them); the MWC will be lucky to get $3M pro rata and will likely be in CUSA range - and might have to incorporate some Tuesday and Wednesday games to get that.

The PAC has all the western G6 schools that have shown ability to attract decent TV ratings - Boise, Fresno, SDSU, Oregon State, Washington State. The MWC has none - even Air Force and UNLV are weaklings when it comes to historical TV ratings...and they will have SJSU and New Mexico (and may be UTEP and Idaho) on the schedule instead of Boise State or Fresno State or OSU or Wazzu.
