For a sedan I used to like the Camry, for a compact car it was the Civic.
I say was because Toyota has made the Camry hybrid only and I want nothing to do with a car that has multiple engines.
The Corolla is too slow and has a terrible suspension to be considered a good compact car. In spite of its longevity.
