You can be against competition and free market principles but this is just the result of letting schools compete for
talent. The schools for years have prevented kids from earning rents from them and now that they can, schools and fans are getting pissed and want more regulation and less freedom to compete.
As soon as you get schools either paying salaries or remove all scholarships and make it like an amateur sport it will be better. But in between you get chaos.
