Kawhi Leonard was (at one point) arguably the top player in the NBA
He also went to a school that wasn't traditionally a basketball blue blood.
How often when watching him did you hear announcers extolling the elite development of San Diego St? How has SDSU recruited since then?
Maybe you watch more NBA than I do... But when I do watch, I pretty much have never heard "Oh what a steal from the San Diego St product" Or "Paul George with another three! The former Bulldog is on fire!"
That's not to say we shouldn't go get Dybantsa - we obviously should. I just think you're overstating the benefits of his association with us as an NBA player

Imagine if BYU was the alma mater for Curry, Durant, or Jokic. That is the type of talent this guy is reputed to be.
