reason this team is doing well, especially on defense, is that most of our two deep (and even 3 deep) is still healthy. I think that has been a pretty big key to the early success. And actually, without an over-abundance of key injuries, I think last year's team would have looked a lot different. IMO, they would have made a bowl game at least, if there were just the normal amount of injuries.

In fact, I think OSU would likely not have come back in the second half like they did, and even the OU game may have been different. That would have ended the season on a high note, especially if it included a bowl win. This team is just determined to take Karma to the woodshed! It's in their eyes, and you can hear it in their attitude / conversations, and I'm happy to be along for the ride!

If it takes a few lucky bounces, so be it - we're due!
Pretty much every team that has a great year / wins championships, gets a few favorable bounces along the way.
