On the scoop and score - the strip was a great play. But the ball squirting out to the sideline where we had 3 guys running in that direction so that they could grab it and take off was lucky.

We had a similar strip and fumble against SMU except instead of the ball bouncing away from the runner so that the defense could recover it, the ball bounced perfectly right back up into the hands of the SMU player. And there was no TO.

BYU had bad luck on that play. 55

Again, no one is saying BYU isn't good or didn't deserve to win. But if they played 10 times, those lucky bounces may not go our way every game which is why we might lose some of the time or even if we won the score may be much closer.
