Jk, but for real though, not only would you not be looked down on or ridiculed, you would probably get more than average attention from people because they want to make you feel welcome and comfortable.

Seriously, the goal of BYU is to show there is a place here for everyone, and the Church, especially recently, has pushed extra hard to ensure the members know and understand that love is first, and judgement last.
