I hope it turns out ok for you. Seriously though hoarding is a mental illness usually caused by pent up anxiety/depression from past trauma manifesting itself in the form of hoarding. She needs some intense mental health interventions, therapy, meds. It will not likely get better without this, even if you’re firm with her and throw away her stuff.
