Finally registering our cars in our new state now that we're going to be here long term. One car is a year old, the other is 3 years. Both mid size crossovers. $1000 to register. I already paid taxes in Texas when I bought them. I'm not sure why Colorado thinks it deserves to enforce it's own tax on the cars too.

I should have picked up one of those 'sovereign citizen' plates instead of registering it with the state. Or at least kept the Texas registration until it expired.
