For most of society the English language is evolving.
It isn't evolving as much for us in our church, but for the rest of the country I think it really is.
For this reason I think that when we hear a chant that says "F the Mormons" or ""F BYU" It isn't intended to offend us as much as we think it is. It might be meant to be a little offensive, but the reality is that to them it means nothing. The only thing that brings meaning to it is if we get really offended. When that happens they think it's hilarious that these mormon folks are getting offended by something so silly. We don't need to adopt the F bomb into our vocabulary but we can realize that being appalled and offended is probably not necessary.
