Ranking these simulations by how good I'd feel about the team and the season afterwards
Simulation #3 (BYU 45 - Wyoming 16) Great offense, great defense, not much more you could ask for
Simulation #10 (BYU 38, Wyoming 22) Offense is great (at least the pass offense as Retzlaff goes for 404 yards and 5 TDs), but not quite as well-balanced or as impressive defense as the higher ranking outcomes
Simulation #8 (BYU 34, Wyoming 23) Would like to see more from the pass game, but a dominant run game and a 10+ point win puts this game towards the top of outcomes
Simulation #2 (BYU 37, Wyoming 30) Good offense (402 yards), but defense looks bad, especially allowing Wyoming to score 27 in the 4th quarter. It was 37-3 before that, and so it was all realistically in garbage time.... but still a concern
Simulation #9 (BYU 22, Wyoming 17) Do you prefer to start dominant and ease up (see Simulation #2) or to start slow (down 14-0) and then get it together (this case)? I prefer the former, but they're opposite sides of the same coin
Simulation #6 (BYU 23, Wyoming 17) A tight game with Retzlaff completing only half his passes and while he had 171 yards, 73 of those came on one catcha nd run from Roberts. Other than that he only got 98 yards
Simulation #1 (BYU 17, Wyoming 9) Defense came to play...but the offense remains a concerns with only 90 pass yards and an interception from Retzlaff
Simulation #4 (BYU 27, Wyoming 19) BYU has to score 10 in the final quarter to eke out the win, first taking a lead with 2 minutes left in the game. This one is concerning, even if the final score (with a late FG tacked on) doesn't look as bad
Simulation #7 (BYU 26, Wyoming 21) BYU gets bailed out by the defense as Retzlaff completes less than half his passes for less than 200 yards and has FOUR interceptions
Simulation #5 (Wyoming 38, BYU 31) Clearly the simulation where we lose to Wyoming is going to be the most upsetting
