4 freshmen and 3 sophomores were the key players. Yes, they are making youth mistakes, however the talent is obvious. They will grow and
become the core of a typical Olmstead tourney team.
Upper class performance (jr and sr) and leadership was what was missing. They were not productive when given time so ride the youngsters and develop them, IMO. Another solid recruiting class and tourney wins are coming. I like our foundation for future and likely making some B12 noise this year as they mature and perhaps a 1st round game if they can put a string of wins against the ranked opponents with wins in the conference tourney.
A step forward against Oregon?? We shall see how the day after play looks.
