A game manager as you have described it, would have worked ok against SMU, but about the same result. Going forward...
I don't think BYU can win consistently in the B-12 with just a game manager.
We need a qb who is both dynamic and can limit turnovers. Jake is on a short leash now. I really like his upside, but he's GOT TO limit those turnovers. Especially the fumbles.
