I only went once, after I moved to Utah in 2001, and I'd not do it again. It
was horrible. I had my elderly mother and two older teenage daughters. The tickets had been a regular season ticket holders who couldn't go and sold them on KSL. Even though I was around a lot of middle age and above fans that were regular season ticket holders, there were quite a few (not all) that were classless and constantly taunting us. My daughter had a small sign that said "Feel our Payne" as it was back when Matt Payne was our kicker. Two individuals told her if she raised that flag they would stuff it down her throat. I was furious and ready to go mano e mano, but for the sake of my mother and daughter, I keep my anger in check. Come on guys, picking on a teenager? The student section with their vile taunts of our band and mocking our cheerleaders dressing up as pregnant ones. They kept yelling something about one of our players fathering a kid out of wedlock. It was all so ridiculous.

Leaving that game (the 0-3 loss), some 30ish year old came up to our group as we were leaving and just went on this swearing rant toward us, calling us names and such. It just isn't worth it.

Now, I will say, I've been to several MBB games at the Huntsman Center and I've never, in all those times, ever had one negative experience. I wouldn't think twice about going there. I don't know if I understand that. I thought maybe it was just the particular FB game I had attended, but Utah kept BYU from scoring, breaking a record that lasted many, many seasons and won the game, but yet they couldn't be courteous.
