Basketball wise this could affect them more. Those schools in Montana, Dakotas
have upper crust FCS football, but they are not at the level of UNLV, Reno, USU or New Mexico in the basketball world.
Generally, things are never "fair" in life, but I hate to see programs, through no misadventure on their part, get kicked to the curb.
