2.5 acre “farm” here. Raise chickens and goats. Zoned ag land, so save a ton on
property taxes compared to if the same area was zoned residential. Like $15/year compared to $5,000. If I didn’t raise animals and grow pasture grass, the county would change me to residential. I’m not sure of any other benefits.
