Bronco and Anae would absolutely adjust what they called based on who they had available. They wouldn't completely scap BYU's identity because of who we were playing against, but they were all about adjusting calls to match personnel.

Arod doesn't seem to adapt his calls to match the players he has.

This is different than doing something different based on your opponent. No team changes what they do because of who they are playing... Trying to change too much and too often was one of Gary Crowton's major flaws...There just isn't time. Of course you adapt your play calls (unless you are ARod apparently) to put your guys in a position to succeed... But your play is still one you have prepared and practiced for weeks.
You have to run what you practice.
