This is Kalani's moment, I hope he too doesn't fumble it.
Arod will stick with Jake because he is infatuated with his own playbook. Arod will continues to ride with Jake because Jake knows the playbook better and is the only one that can execute on the largest variety of Arod's offensive fantasies. But if Arod truly believes he can overcome turnovers with his play calling genius (hubris), he will be out of a job within the year.

This is where the great LaVell Edwards made executive decisions and saved his coordinators from themselves. I'm not saying micromanage, but you HAVE to draw a bright line when it comes to turnovers. The team will rally around an occasional turnover, but you lose a team when coaches demonstrate a willingness to disrespect everyone's individual efforts by continuing to give the ball to someone who doesn't honor that trust with the ball. This team has great potential because of the defense and solid (not great) offensive production. This is not unlike the Baylor team Bohanon took to the Big 12 championship. The coaches need to do their job and eliminate the turnovers (simplify - go with Bohanon). And nothing would be better for Jake. If he doesn't get a ball security message drilled into his head RIGHT NOW, his career will be over as fast as Arod's. Does Kalani want to ride that sinking ship as well? Unlike many on this board, I want to see Kalani settle into that long-term Lavell role and provide great stability to the program for many years. This is his moment.
