That's a good challenge.
But even if non-medical RS were still in common practice for bball, Eli probably represents too valuable a wrinkle to scratch entirely from working roster this year.
If any of our Frosh are up for a developmental year — because they really aren't ready for upper-D1 play — I'd certainly peg Koz before I would Eli (who could give us offensive quickness at the PG spot we don't get otherwise).

You still need to cover your bases defensively. That's always what the numbering system was mostly about.
