You still need to cover your bases defensively. That's always what the numbering system was mostly about.
I think my tally reflects a "positionless" game — certainly moreso than any other BYU team that I remember doing this for.
You can't play positionless ball without versatile players. Versatile in terms of size, athleticism & skill. Guys like Demin, Catchings & Boskovic make "positionless" basketball possible.
