Good book. Attia does a good job making the argument for much more
aggressive lipid management up front.

Since he doesn’t have a lot of clinical experience as a physician he fails to understand (imo) the nuances of what you do when you detect asymptomatic disease, outside of that aggressive lipid management.. Thats where things get controversial and a lot less clear. Thats where him pushing coronary CT for “subclinical” disease evaluation isn’t clear cut.

But I really like his primary prevention advice.
