BYU is impressively scrappy, but lack ball skill or speed or both from enough
attacking players that we just don't have a dangerous attack for this high level of competition. Fryer is the only one so far to show it at this level, and even she has a lot to work on to be more dangerous more of the time. Bailey certainly showed it last season as a poacher blending in with a super talented team, but its obviously different when the talent level is rebuilding and you have a prime target on your back for the defense to watch.

I know Rockwood encourages them to shoot from distance, but through four games BYU only has one dangerous shot on goal from distance? I think Gardner had a nice dipping shot from distance (I think against St. Louis) that forced the keeper to push it over.

Stepping up to the level of physicality at this level is one thing, I am just surprised noone seems to show that skill like being a dynamic shooter or really dangerous in the box.
