At least when compared to a 2nd round pick. Some guys are willing to forego a possible NBA career to maximize their revenue in college, some guys like the college life. But with Kanon, I think he'd jump even if the money was similar or worse in the pros.
Basically, I'm just saying that Kanon feels like the kind of guy who just wants to play basketball without distractions. BYU has some advantages there (no party life, good locker room/teammates) but if Kanon can't go pro I could see him going somewhere where school takes less of his time and energy.
