IMO, it won’t be the losses as much as the way the team losses.

If the team goes 5-7 and is right there but just edged out in their losses then KS lives for another year.

If the loses are akin to what we saw mid season against W Virginia, TCU, Iowa State, then KS is done.

KS supporters like to hang their hats on the close losses w OK and OK St. I would say those were desperate BYU teams playing, particularly in the OK game, against opponents that were not up for the game because it was a ‘automatic’ win.

Another way to say it is if BYU shows like they did last year, KS is cooked.

If they have the same record as last year but are battling and right in the games (look like they belong on the field), then KS will live for another year, although he will be firmly on the Hot Seat at that point despite what all his loyal supporters want to think.
