The NSS functions the same way as Malibu's Surf Gates. Essentially it tries to stop one side of your boat. The problem is the wave isn't very adjustable and becomes a one trick pony. Nautiques are known to have a very steep wave that doesn't have a lot of adjustment possibilities. I love Nautiques and they are the highest quality boats on the market. I just wish they would switch up their surf systems and tweak the hull.
