The upper tier models don’t perform any better than the others they just have more convenience features which is kind of silly imo.

For example, the Nautique Paragons come with exclusive throw pillows and rear facing seats on the transom. Is that really worth another $100k?

I will say that I don’t judge people buying expensive boats as much as I used to. It still seems like a waste of money for lots of people but since we got a boat it has given us something to do that the whole family enjoys. We also live on a lake and go 3-4 times per week so it makes a lot more sense. And we also bought it and share it with another family member so it was way cheaper.

But still, with how much joy my family gets out of it I don’t blame anyone who gets a nice boat and makes it their thing. It definitely has helped us make memories with our kids.
