Two missionaries to Africa, we sent both with one large and one medium suitcase. The travelpro are good quality and lighter than the cheap ones, so you can fit more stuff within your weight limit. We bought them at Nordstrom Rack and they aren’t super expensive.

They told us not to send them with a third (a carry-on) because it was hard for them to move around in smaller cars with that much stuff.
