The poison pellets seem to work well. I’ve had limited success with the snap traps that you partially bury but a lot of times they just fill them with dirt. Haven’t had much success with the smoke bombs. Those are fun but the voles just seem to move locations.

A cat works well too but that brings a whole different set of commitment
