I'm a Braves fan and owner. Chipper told Freddie that if he wanted to be a Brave then he should sign the extension. I think he thought when push came to shove they would get it done. He left it in the hands of his agent who didn't communicate well and played hard ball. The Braves moved on because they had to make sure they got somebody. So when I say if he really wanted to be a Brave, I'm being a bit harsh.
