I found that the hardest part of plumbing was ensuring that the vents were where they need to be.

No. Under the Siding I have a layer of Vapor Barrier, then OSB, then 4-5 inches

I wish I would have put fiberglass batting in the empty space for sound deadening upstairs.

You can blow loose fill easily. Some big box stores will even rent the equipment
