stretch. I did look up the company, which was a multi-billion enterprise and they have multiple sites and their own job postings listed multiple "CFO" positions open since apparently that's what they call regional and site-specific controllers.

So it was feasible they were hiring for a regional CFO and not the multi-billion CFO. Maybe that's why the scammer chose that company?
