People older than me, how famous really was Donny Osmond at his peak?
I wasn't alive in the 70s and 80s but I have been told the Osmonds as a whole were a big deal. I knew he and Marie were on TV and had the Vegas residency. I also know many older people who still swoon thinking about him.
From a non-Utah/LDS point of view, how famous was Donny at his peak? Comparing him in fame to modern day celebs, where would he fall on a scale of Kirby Heyborne (only known in Church circles) to Taylor Swift (the most famous musician on the planet currently)?
