Alabama beat:
9th ranked Clemson
3rd ranked Georgia on the road
15th ranked LSU on the road
They led the eventual National Champs, Florida, going into the 4th quarter.
The 2008 Alabama team may not have been as good as the Alabama teams of later years, but they were still dang good. Going undefeated is always difficult in the SEC (Florida has never done it.)
