I see some people like making assumptions about others. Feel free to search

my history on CB and see how many I have on these issues. How about just addressing the ideas without making up the idea that I've been swinging a hammer on this issue or that you somehow know where I live.

Additionally people have to be housed somewhere... it affects rents/values of housing. If there is greater demand for housing. It goes up. Lower demand it goes down.

See cheap Japanese homes for sale due to lower shrinking population demand.
