20-minutes from downtown Raleigh, in a vibrant area with good schools. Zillow estimates our home at $530k. We've been shopping for a similar home on the Wasatch Front for the past six months and we're looking at $800k+. The two biggest problems are that lot sizes in Utah are much smaller than what we currently have and the schools in Utah are much larger, both in total students and in students per teacher.
Chapel Hill is a really desirable area and not representative of the typical middle class neighborhood in the Raleigh or Charlotte suburbs.
