something (based on subjectivity to boot) it's true. My wife is highly attractive and that is what caught my eye. Simply because I met her at a party from across the room and didn't have the proper equipment to test her intellect and character that evening. That realization came as we dated. That being said, there is a 0% chance she was the prettiest girl in Nevada. She would't be surprised I said that. The same way I know I'm not close to the most handsome man, even in my family.

It is wonderful that you chose your wife based on character and intellect, and how pretty she is/was was just icing on the cake. The point is, you are an outlier.
