health permitting. My dad was a fairly avid backpacker, but I hadn't hardly been at all as an adult until 5 years ago my older son started wanting to go. We've done four trips, all much shorter than yours, but did include a 50 miler around Three Sisters we did in abut 52 hours because we were so miserable we just wanted to finish! You build so many great memories and see so many amazing things. Appreciate your sharing your experience, I hope I'm that hard core some day.
