I'm not sure exactly how all the variables in administration relationships work,
But I do know it is important to make friends. Both of those schools have long histories with BYU and while we might be in a better position currently, things change quickly.
I doubt Tom is turning down ACC and other invites. It isn't an either or situation. Constantly growing and expanding that network is important.
Building and maintaining relationships is important to Tom and BYU.
