People who hold so tight to arbitrary rules fascinate me.
I get living in an HOA means you need to pay. Reasonable to enforce that.

But individuals who go out of their way to police the type of grass, flowers, colors on home, trash can location, where your car is parked, what electrical work you are doing etc are wild to me.

Is there nothing better in your life than to police neighborhoods and tell people that they can have azaleas but not magnolias or that they can put the trash cans on the left but not on the right?


Remind me of the people from the book Ordinary Men.
