That seems like a silly move for ESPN. It would make no sense. They have the
ACC locked up at a bargain basement rate. The top teams are basically stuck. They've been looking for a loophole for years now.
Why would ESPN open the door for a new contract that would certainly be far more expensive.
How would that benefit ESPN? What is the upside?
