You learn in the military not to go to the doctor. Even when you should.
You say you're having pains or something is wrong and they will treat you but it messes up training pipelines, deployment schedules, and can derail your career or get you discharged entirely. In the military I was explicitly told that it was in my best interest to keep it to myself.

Obviously it's not clear that this is the best approach.
