Fous is a far better offensive player, Keita is a far better defensive player.
I don't know who will start. But depending on the way each game is progressing will determine who gets more minutes in that game.
If we need defense, Keita will play more minutes, if we need offense, Fous will play more minutes.

I'm glad to have Keita, but really don't understand the Keita>Fous posts.

I think the reason for people projecting Keita as the starter over Fouss has

For me it is simple: Defense wins the Big12 (houston, Iowa State) and the NC

Our defense tanking was much more of a Khalifa problem than Fouss lol

Khalifa got murdered by Keita so I’m having a hard time buying that

It's a close call. I'd suppose an even split with slight upside edge to Keba. Fouss knows offensive game much better at

This. Either way they'll get even minutes

Those two may be the most secure guys on team regarding their roles. They'll alternate at center, roughly 18-22 minutes.

Only question will be what happens if one of them gets injured

Good Question. And probably at least a 30% probability.

If Fouss were a stronger defensive 5, I'd agree. Fouss is strong, but for a D1 big is a pretty average athlete.

And if Fouss was an above the rim threat he would be a better fit in the offense

Keita was probably the 4th best player on Utah last year; losing him is a big punch to them

Fous is a far better offensive player, Keita is a far better defensive player.
