Info from BYU says "BYU is test optional for most applicants through winter 2026."

Does anybody know exactly what this means?

Test-optional for kids who apply before winter 2026?

Test-optional for those who actually start before winter 2026?

Test-optional for kids who apply before spring/summer 2026?

I could see a case for any of those interpretations. I have a daughter who would like to apply in fall 2025 to start in fall 2026. Trying to figure out if she'll be required to submit a score.
